Xposing Photoshop's Color Selector Ring.

This Color ring that appears when you use the Eyedropper Tool is new to Cs5 and Adobe claims it will help make your color selection easier to see. You be the judge.

This is an easy tool to use, just follow these steps:

Select the EYEDROPPER TOOL from the Tool Panel.

Go up to SAMPLE SIZE in Options Bar and choose 5 by 5 Average. This set the Pixel size that is sampled by the Eyedropper Tool. From what I have read  choosing this size gives you the best sample.

Click on the color in the Image you want to sample and you're done.

You are now a little bit closer to becoming a Photoshop expert.
If you have any questions or I left anything out that prevents you from completing this effect
